Scott Gillan is currently the bassist and vocalist for the Garcia Birthday Band. Since moving to Portland from Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1993, Scott has played in the following bands: Heywood, Earl and the Reggae All-Stars, The Carnegie Haulers, The PieMen, Danny East Trio, Ramblin' Rose, The Mystery Cats, Brothers Jam, The Buds of May, The Ike Willis Band, The Lords of Borthwick, The Hazmats, Shafty, The High Neighbors, Spacing Guild, and DeadHendge.
